Remember the Dick Cavett Show??!!

Before Dave and Leno, when Mom and Dad were watching Johnny Carson, there was this other nighttime guy who was so much wittier and just plain hip. Dick Cavett. Johnny was swing band, Dick was Rock 'N' Roll. Obviously, because now you'll be able to watch three DVD's worth of his interviews with Rock Icons of the '70's. Including performances. My gal Janis will be there. The Stones, when they still looked alive. Sly, Stevie, Joni, and so many more.

THE DICK CAVETT SHOW: ROCK ICONS 3-Disc DVD set focuses on appearances from some of the most influential rock ‘n’ roll musicians of the time: David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, David Crosby, George Harrison, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, Ravi Shankar, Paul Simon, Sly & The Family Stone, and Stephen Stills. Several of these performances and interviews have not been seen since they first aired over 30 years ago. With recently taped introductions and remembrances by Cavett, The Dick Cavett Show: Rock Icons 3-Disc DVD will be available on August 16th, 2005.

Sure, most of these people are still around, many still performing. But to look at them as their '70's selves...Hang On--this could bring on a major flashback!
